Questions

Frequently asked

Can I try it without an account?

Yes, guests can answer a few questions a day. A free account raises the daily number; everything is in the Plus / Pro personal plans and Faculty and larger institution packages.

Are the mocks like the real exam?

Mocks use the official net scoring (4 wrong cancel 1 right) and question format. A score prediction appears only after enough calibrated questions have been answered.

Who writes the questions?

Questions are generated with AI, checked and approved by an editor and further reviewed by experts. Every question shows its rationale and source.

How is the Disease Atlas different from the virtual patient?

The Atlas teaches the disease: definition, signs, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and exam points, every paragraph referenced. The virtual patient teaches you to manage it: you take the history, examine, order tests, diagnose and prescribe, and your decisions are scored. Read it in the Atlas, then manage the same disease in a virtual patient.
