Candidate Privacy Notice

Explains why and on what legal basis we process the personal data you send with your application, how long we keep it, and your rights. Version: 30 September 2026.

This English text is provided for information; the Turkish version prevails.

1. Data controller

Under Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") the data controller is AR ARGE TEKNOLOJİ SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. ("the Company"). Address: Pınarbaşı, Hürriyet Cd., 07070 Konyaaltı/Antalya. MERSİS: 0071100415900001. E-mail: info@arsolution.com.

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity: full name.
  • Contact: e-mail address, phone number (optional), city of residence.
  • Professional background: your CV (PDF), LinkedIn / portfolio links, your note.
  • Process records: the role you applied for, the date, the assessment stage and the hiring team's interview notes.
  • Acknowledgement records: the date and version of your acknowledgement of this notice and, if given, of your talent-pool consent.

We do not ask for a photo, age, gender, marital status, national ID number or special categories of data such as health, religion or association membership. Please leave them out of your CV; if included they are not used. Your IP address is not stored with your application; it is used in a short-lived counter to prevent abuse and may appear in the site's general server access logs kept for security.

3. Purposes

  • assessing your application, your fit for the role and making the hiring decision;
  • contacting you, scheduling interviews and telling you the outcome;
  • keeping a record of the hiring process, information security and protecting rights in a possible dispute;
  • only with your explicit consent: contacting you about suitable future roles (talent pool).

4. Legal bases

  • KVKK md. 5/2-c — processing directly related to entering into a contract (assessment before an employment contract);
  • KVKK md. 5/2-f — the Company's legitimate interest, provided your fundamental rights are not harmed (process records, security, abuse prevention);
  • KVKK md. 5/2-e — establishing, exercising or protecting a right (possible disputes);
  • KVKK md. 5/1 — explicit consent: only for keeping your data in the talent pool for 12 months; given with the separate, optional box on the form, and it does not affect your application.

5. How we collect it

Your data is collected directly from you, electronically via the application form on our careers page and through e-mail with us. CV files are stored in a non-public storage area under random names, can be viewed only by authorised hiring staff, and every access is logged.

6. Disclosure

Candidate data is never shared for marketing or with other companies. It may be disclosed only to public authorities legally entitled to request it, within KVKK art. 8; during the process only the Company's staff responsible for hiring can access it. E-mails about your application are sent through the business e-mail provider we use, which acts as a data processor and only for that service.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Your application is kept for 6 months from the date you applied. If the process ends (a hiring or negative decision) or the role closes within that time, it is kept for at least 6 months from that date.
  • With talent-pool consent it is kept for 12 months from the date you applied (and at least 6 months after the outcome). If you withdraw the consent, the period above applies instead; if it has already passed, your application is deleted that night.
  • Expired applications and CV files are permanently deleted automatically every night. If you ask us to delete your application, it is deleted without waiting.
  • If you are hired, the necessary details move to your personnel file and are processed under the separate employee privacy notice.

8. Your rights under KVKK art. 11

By applying to the Company you may:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is disclosed;
  • ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected;
  • ask for it to be erased or destroyed under KVKK art. 7;
  • ask that corrections and erasures be notified to third parties to whom it was disclosed;
  • object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis (applications are not screened automatically);
  • claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You may withdraw your talent-pool consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

9. How to contact us

We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
